Recommended for Brain Function Jun 05, 2010

Not only is this brand of Curcumin extract highly rated, but Amazon's price is also excellent.
When my husband's neurologist recommended taking turmeric/Curcumin to help to slow the progress of memory loss, I researched it further. Curcumin is the plant source of turmeric used in curry powder. The incidence of Alzheimer's disease in India where this spice is heavily used is the lowest in the world.
According to Indian medical studies, Curcumin decreases beta-amyloid brain plaque that is connected to Alzheimer's disease. Curcumin delays neuron decline and acts as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant in the body. The overall memory in patients with vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease improved.

Great savings Nov 09, 2009
By W. ANDERSON Same brand that I buy locally for over twice the price. I bought a few bottles to save on the shipping costs, worked out well. I take one each morning for digestive problems (IBS) and the results have been very good.

Seems to be a great anti inflammatory supplement! Nov 04, 2010
By Irish Lass Now Foods Curcumin Extract 95% 700mg, 60 Capsules I'm allergic to aspirin. After a life long use for migraines (from early childhood) all the NSAIDS now give me hives. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever, but isn't really an anti inflammatory. This is one of the recommended natural supplements for pain & inflammation, but since I have allergies to many natural herbs etc. I wasn't counting on good results. 3 weeks & my joints feel so much less painful! I've had no allergic reactions and my Dr. said turmeric is a good thing to take so I'm sticking with it! I have had a couple of migraines, but the joint pain has reduced greatly. I like it so much I just ordered this as a "gift" for a friend.

By M. Neargarder I use Curcumin as part of my daily supplementation due to its anti-inflammatory properties. This is one of the best prices I've found.

I normally use the curcumin product sold by Nature's Way ("Tumeric"), but was hoping to get a better price and purer form of the herb. The price was better, but but the unbuffered form caused a meltdown in my stomach, so I've gone back to Nature's Way.
