love my Green Tea Apr 02, 2012
By Tiffany Crandall I was taking green tea extract for about three months and I did like it, I think it helped me lose some weight I was trying to shed. I then started working with a personal trainer (she's amazing!) who also has a masters degree in nutrition. She suggested I try taking Yohimbine with my green tea extract. I had heard of Yohimbine at this point but had no experience with it.
From the research I've done, my understanding is that it blocks Alpha2 activation allowing for greater fat breakdown to occur and also increase blood flow to adipose tissue, making it perfect for targeting stubborn fat. And when taken with green tea (or caffeine but I prefer green tea) the effects are multiplied.
I initially got some from GNC but found a much better deal for yohimbine on amazon (I love you amazon!); 5 Grams Yohimbine HCL 99% Bulk Powder. The difference when combining these too has been unmistakeable. More energy, more endurance, and my body-fat percentage is now lower than it has been in 20+ years, I'm completely elated!

raise your metabolism, lose weight Dec 18, 2011
By just somebody ordinary I read about a harvard study that indicated those that consume green tea everyday, without any change in diet or physical activity, lost on average about 10 lbs. I hate green tea in liquid form, so decided to give this a try for the last year. I can say that I have lost about 8 lbs. For the low cost, I feel this has been a great investment.

green tea extract Apr 11, 2012
By William Green Green tea has SO many health benefits, but I don't really like the taste very much :( so I started taking these caps a few months ago. I can get most of the health benefits of the tea, without having to drink it! I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Good anti-inflammatory/energy booster Jan 19, 2012
By Ritchey17 After reading about the effects of green tea on fat metabolism I decided to incorporate it into my carb-cycling cutting regiment. I've been taking ~4 pills/day (2 in the morning/2 before working out) for the past four months. Overall, I've lost quite a bit of fat but I can't attribute all of it to green tea.
I used to get headaches very often (not because of dehydration), but they stopped after I began taking green tea. After some primary literature research, I found that that EGCG-one of the catechins found in green tea-inhibits a molecule involved in the NFKB inflammatory pathway, so maybe that's why.
If you're taking green tea to boost metabolism then you should take it with a cup of coffee and/or other source of caffeine. Studies have shown that the thermogenic and lipolytic effects of green tea have the most effect when taken with caffeine-caffeine is also a natural thermogenic.
Also, other studies have shown that taking green tea + caffeine 20 minutes prior to exercising increases fatty acid metabolism by as much as ~17% when compared to placebo groups.
Overall, the positive side effects of green tea are numerous and may, in part, account for solving the mystery of the'Asian Paradox.' I apologize for not listing any sources, but a quick search on a major scientific journal will provide you with all you need.
P.s Besides green tea I would highly recommend looking at alpha lipoic acid, melatonin, green vibrance, and whey protein as possible supplements to better your health and help you with weight loss.
