Don't give up too quickly May 23, 2011

I tried this cream...gave up after about a week. Tried it again...it seemed to make my hot flashes WORSE. I was flashing about every 20-40 minutes all day and all night. It was horrible. I gave up on the menopause cream again after about a week. Then, I decided that maybe the third time was the charm. I tried it, stuck with it and after about 3 weeks the hot flashes stopped-cold. It's been over a month now and I've not had one hot flash. I've had a couple of warm flushes, but nothing and I mean NOTHING like the misery I was suffering before. I was ready to try HRT, anything. I didn't want to do do that, but I was getting desperate. I am so thankful that this works. Oh, I'd tried black cohosh, vitamin E, soy, hesperidin- some of it worked for a week or so then stopped. I tried clonidine too-it worked for a while but then seemed to stop. I still take a low dose of clonidine since I also have slight hypertension. Not sure what the clonidine is doing for my hot flashes but my BP is great, and with the menopause cream-I'm not flashing. I will keep using the combination for as long as it works.
