I heard of Quercetin--which is a bioflavonoid available in red wine and onions, among other things--after buying it in a popular energy drink and noticing that the drinks work without causing too many after-effects like the jitters, energy crash, etc. Quercetin is an antioxidant, and should therefore be able to reduce the damage of stress on your body. The bottle also claims, "Studies have also demonstrated that Quercetin may promote prostate health."
Taking this into account, and the high price of the beverages per dose compared to the capsules, and the need for a more neutral taste, I bought the 100 count 500mg vcaps on Amazon.
If you are not aware of the quality of the Now brand, they are highly reputable. And I wasn't disappointed. The energy of this Quercetin is just as good as the energy drink, or better, but there is no strong taste. You swallow it in the morning, and by noon, you feel pretty good and focused, if you're like me.
It is supposed to be a histamine regulator, according to the bottle, and moderate your immune functions. However, I'm not a doctor and have not noticed if this is true or not, myself.
I appreciate the chance to buy this excellent product from Amazon. I will definitly be getting this again.

My 7 year old son takes this quercetin for allergies. It not only eliminated his symptoms, but he feels better all together. I'm very happy with this product!

I'm a big FRS fan & thought this might be a cheaper alternative - but I can't say I really notice the effects, at least not in the same manner that I do w/ the FRS. It's either psychosomatic or very subtle, but I do tend to feel that I have smoother lever of energy & possibly more endurance with these - but it's much more noticeable w/ the FRS. Still, there seems to be something there - & the price is right.

I highly recommend quercetin to anyone suffering from allergies and asthma. It is an natural way to control these conditions.

Since using this product,my stuffiness and congestion has gone away..I take it only when needed..it works great and would highly recommend this product..
