 Stopped my cold in its tracks. Jan 14, 2010

I'd had a bottle of Umcka in my house for a while. So, when I recently got a sore throat, I thought I'd give it a try. The packaging says to take Umcka when the first symptoms appear, and I took my first dose about 30 minutes after my throat really started to hurt. My sore throat pain went away several minutes after the first dose and then returned a few hours later. So, I took another teaspoon of Umcka, and my throat felt fine again. Those early symptoms (sore throat and the beginnings of a stuffy nose) continued on for a few days. I kept with the 4-5 doses a day (as instructed), though, and the cold never fully developed. So not only did Umcka stop my cold, but it also tasted A LOT better than any medicine I had ever taken in the past for a cold.

I have used Umcka now for the past two cold seasons and find it be as effective if not more so than any over the counter remedy produced by the big pharmaceutical companies. Taken at the earliest on set of cold symptoms it effectively diminishes them and in most cases eliminates them within 24 hours. In addition there are no side effects such as drowsiness that I can detect. As a naturally derived product it fits nicely into my ethic of no hard corp chemical based medicines. Highly recommended.

This stuff contains Pelargonium Sidoids. I've done my research on this because it works. It's actually some type of South African geranium. There are no side effects and it will kick a cold to the curb. Best to take at the very first symptoms. If you take it past the second day of a cold, you will still suffer, but not as much. I highly recommend this stuff. I have not had a cold in 2.5 years and I used to get them at least 4 times a year! They would always lead to bronchitus or sinus infections but no more! It is nothing short of a miracle! I used to buy ZUCOL but apparently UMCKA replaced ZUCOL. For the person that said it didn't work, and was a placebo effect, you must've started taking it too late in the cold progression. I am a living walking example of a miracle product.

Excellent flavor, great remedy! May 12, 2007

I have used Umcka for years. It was actually brought over to Germany back in the early 19th century. It is from a root that actually does shorten the duration of a bronchial problem, such as bronchitis, or a cold. I have used it with such success that each time I feel a bad cold coming on, I start using it until the cold has diminished. I would recommend this to anyone, including children, since there are no side effects, and it tastes great! Give it a try, it is a great holistic remedy!

If you have sniffles or the beginning of a sore throat, this is the stuff to take. It will knock it right out of your system in two or three days, tops. It's non-drowsy and the cherry tastes great. My team swears by Umcka.
